Our Catalpa

The name of this tree growing in the temperate areas of North America and East Asia originates from the Indian word ‘catawpa’.

In general, Catalpa has a bizarrely growing crown on a short trunk and can grow to a magnificent noble tree. It is distinguished by large leaves and thick branches. In a mild autumn, catalpa branches may slowly continue to grow and be then damaged by winter frost. But in spring they will grow again!
